雨季

雨季 is the title of the song Ah Bui aka Sexy Nah wrote a tune for, lovely Jia En sang to and written by someone I never met before. Its one of the entries among the many received by northeast CDC for this original composition and music video competition. If any of you are interested in listening to the song, I would love to send it to you (coz Jia En’s vocals are good and the tune written by Sexy is woo-lah-lah) I happened to have the privilege of being in the music video with Nicky. (coz Sexy is my ex-colleague lol)

We had fun taking the video at numerous locations: Yayne’s friend’s house at Nature Mansion, Japanese Garden, Yes 21 studio at Little India. I remember the first time I saw the MV. Wahaha.. my first thought was, “OMG I LOOK SO UGLY!!!” lol.. after some other comments that the MV was quite ok, I felt better haha. Karen (my super professional make-up artiste) even commented that it’s the only video that looks pro and that Nicky and I look like people from some Taiwan Drama Show. (is that gd or bad? Lol She claims its good haha) In case any of you wants to watch the MV, I don’t have a copy on my computer. Or rather, I cant seem to find it. Lol.. ask Nicky. The person you need to bug is NICKY not me lol.

Anyway, tonight the finals are held at this HUGE open air stage setup at Tampines Grande which is this huge field beside the AIA building. Its here that I got my few seconds of fame lol. While Jia En was singing, the MV is being played on like.. 3 screens? Its weird seeing my face on the BIG screen. Especially this part where my face took up the whole screen!!! WHOA. … and there’s this scene where I gave Nicky a kiss on the cheek.. It made the cut. So ya, my first on-screen kiss is on 7th August 2005. *blush*

CONGRATULATIONS to Sexy and JiaEn and Mystery Songwriter for clinching 3rd place!!! In my opinion, 雨季 would be first if not for the fact that its not very National Day a song *grins*.

The MV would be a very nice memento for Nicky and I. ( I repeat, I don’t have the MV. Ask Nicky)
