Someone to Run with

I was watching Sex and The City and this particular episode about Ex-es did struck me as funny.

Why is it that sometimes, we just know that the other party is not the one for us? And why is it that sometimes, even after all the effort one put in, the relationship is just still as "Something's Missing?" Why are relationships so difficult to master?

I do love it when Carrie (or rather the story writer) put it as each individual, being unable to be changed by the other party, just runs along, until they can find some free-spirit that fits. Someone that has the same pace, same spirit, same love and frequency.

It takes tremendous courage to actually point out that something is missing in a relationship. Perhaps the timing is not right. Perhaps its just unable getting used to. There are just so many possibilities. If even after pointing out the discrepencies and both parties are still unable to figure out or to reignite some kind of feeling, I suppose its a sign. Its time to say good bye.

Sometimes its better to be friends then lovers. Some people are just the best friend material. Too painful to be a lover or partner, but just perfect, simple awesome as a buddy.

Best friends can turn into Loves.
But can Loves turn into Best friends?
