Actors Guild: Special Awards Category

Besides going down more then 2 hours early in order to catch the France fireworks, the crowd also gathered @ The Esplanade to witness the crowning of our Special Awards Trophy recipients.

Surprisingly, majority of those recipients are NOT Singaporeans. So whats all the talk about Ugly Singaporeans about? tsk tsk. Innocents have been harmed.

The highlight of tonight's awards ceremony falls on these three people.

Best Actress: (time of arrival: 8pm)
And the award goes to.... *drum roll* This Vietnamese lady.
She has been blessed with better kungfu then Bruce Lee could ask for..
Proficient in Iron Butt skill, her most memorable scene is when she squeezed through the mass of people already sitting on the floor, choose a spot that's about the size of a basketball (obviously too small for an adult to sit on) and plonked herself down.
She inflicted 'critical damage' on the lady whom she sat on.
Amid shrieks of dismay and protests, her good acting allowed her to keep a straight, indignant expression and snap back that she's not going to move.

*applause*

Best Couple: (time of arrival 8: 30pm)
This year, silent movies make a comeback thanks to this glamorous couple.
Unfortunately, they've have not been blessed with the kungfu Iron Butt of the Best Actress, therefore, upon their arrival, they had to stand throughout the half hour before the fireworks.
They've managed to maintain deaf and dumb to all those people they've blocked when they came.
In response to cries by other people "We're here to see the fireworks, not your head! Can you please sit down?" "This is unfair to the other people who came at 6pm!! Can you not block?" "Sit down!" This couple just turned a deaf ear and the lady muttered to the guy "ignore them".

Oh yes, this year, the best couple are from China.
