Defy All Odds

I’ve met this incredible woman today and I’m glad I’ve befriended her.
She’s from Manila.

Christina just quit her stable job in Manila in May and came to Singapore in June.
I think that’s incredible.

Incredible to come to an unfamiliar country alone… left her comfort zone and stable job in Manila… just because she wants to experience a different environment. You need real courage to do that.

The culture shock, the difficulty in getting employment, the language barrier. She’s handling it pretty well. She's optimistic, cheerful and relaxed

I’m glad I had the opportunity to have met her.
For someone who had things going smoothly for her all these years... and has grown to be adverse to changes.. someone who never had experienced major rejections before...
She certainly is a source of motivation.

Time to step out!
