My Little Houdini
When I got home from home today, i was just about to fill up Toe's hamster food dish when I fount it weird that she didn't come out of her cosy hole to greet the nice food I laid out.
I picked up the pipe in which i presume she hid. It felt pretty heavy. [Ahh.. perhaps she's sleeping] i thought.
I turned the pipe. Took a peep. SHE'S GONE!!! And she filled up the pipe with bedding. Smart ham.
Well, I'm quite amused she manage to escape again. This is her second time since last Saturday.
My mom's less then amused. She hates rodents and no matter how many times I tell her its not a rat, she insists its a RAT. And no matter how often I bathe my hammies (using Dove and Dettol!) She still insists they are full of germs. hmm... Difficult to please.
Well, this time she hid behind the TV cabinet again lolz. And we found her at ease. She didn't even bother hiding lolz. And came to my dad when he made "crooning noises" (in hamster standards anyway.) Within 5 minutes, she's back in her tank. I had to create a special hamster trap using lettuce, hamster ball, hamster carrier lid and loads of musking tape on Saturday and still took me quite a while to coax her back to the cage. *jealous* Maybe she likes him coz he feeds her loads of junk food and all i give her are greens.
