Go Further with Chi

Here's something I read from a magazine long ago:

Run effortlessly and injury-free with a new technique called ChiRunning. Its all about harnessing our chi or life-force energy instead of relying solely on our muscles - Quote Danny Dreyer, author of ChiRunning.

  1. Standing upright with shoulders, hips and ankles aligned, life your pubic bone up in front to level your pelvis, so your spine is in a neutral, tension-free position.
  2. Lean slightly forward from the ankles, not the waist.
  3. As you run, bend your elbows at a 90 degree angle and drive them to the rear; shoulders stay down and relaxed.
  4. Your feet move in a forward circular motion, allowing you to land evenly on your foot.

There! Sounds easy? Go try it! You never know, it might make a runner out of you!
