Watermelon

While Nicky got this hair cut today, I went to Sans Bookshop nearby and started browsing. I remembered Winnie recommending this book Sushi for Beginners by Marian Keyes. Therefore I decided to look for it. That book’s sold out or loaned out already. So in the end I settled for this book titled Watermelon by Marian. *grins*

I’m so gonna go blind.
Recently I am taking on more and more reports to do. And I’m beginning to squint at my screen till my eyes get squeezed out of their sockets. *Doink* Imagine, a 15” screen which forces you to scroll left, right, up and down all the time. It doesn’t just kill your eyes, it muddles your brain too. And yet, night after night, I just cant resist the lure of my books.

I just hope I don’t get blood-shot eyes like Fenni. Poor dear. She multi-tasks like mad. Tradeshow, collaterals, n still she’s doing reports. Talk about being haunted.

Fenni had blood-shot eyes in office today. OMG. She does more reports then me and her monitor is as sucky, if not suckier then mine. Her monitor has this huge square of spoilt pixels on it and it flickers more. I can’t help wondering if I’ll get bloodshot eyes soon too.

We shall plot the bombing of our monitors together! "Monitor-Terrorism"! This sucks.
